作为产出导向型教学模式的子系统,本课程旨在为学生在各种国际性场合可能需要进行的英语演讲打下基础。本课程利用开放、自主的现代教学模式,在建设成开放性课程时将TED视频材料进行教学资源加工后与进行成功演讲所需掌握的言语、非言语技巧的讲解相结合,以视频教学的形式提供给学生,并结合视频教学内容组织学生进行课堂讲演、学生互评及老师当面评估反馈等形式多样的教学策略。英语演讲主要通过听读能力和写作能力的教学和训练而促成。本课程采用以视听促说的模式将输入和输出融为一体,旨在鼓励学生通过视听材料的输入获取语言和思想素材,掌握演讲中的言语和非言语技巧,并按照英语演讲的规范进行产出,从而实现资源利用效率最大化,开创真正意义上的个性化、数字化英语演讲教学,培养学生自主学习能力,促进学生知识结构的重建及思辨能力的提高。
