Tumor is a kind of disease which seriously endangers human health. Neoplastic tumor tumor / neoplasm is a kind of pathological changes caused by the abnormal proliferation of cells in local tissues, which is due to the loss of normal control of the growth of cells at the gene level. The incidence of tumor is rising constantly, which has become a common disease that seriously endangers human health. Oncology is one of the most active subjects in the field of medicine. In recent years, with the deepening of the understanding of tumor diseases, oncology has developed rapidly, from basic research to clinical research, making great progress in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. However, there are still many problems in the field of cancer which are still unknown and need to be explored deeply. It is a huge challenge for medical students. It is a basic requirement for medical workers to master the necessary knowledge of oncology. Introduction to oncology mainly introduces the basic theory, basic knowledge and basic skills of oncology, and integrates them according to the three goals of knowledge structure construction, student learning and clinical application. This course tries to bring forth new ideas in the content and simplify the text, focusing on the occurrence, development, diagnosis and treatment of tumors, so that students can establish a comprehensive understanding of oncology. This course is aimed at medical students of five-year program, which is helpful for them to be engaged in clinical and research work.
