Week 1: Becoming a Sports Psychologist- Lessons from the field. Introduction to sports psychology, exercise well-being and mental health and professional challenges of sports psychologists
Week 2:Developing a champion mindset for competition- Flow state and developing a champion mindset
Week 3:Psychological Skills Training (PST) I- Introduction to PST, Goal setting, Effectiveness of goal setting, strategies to develop goal setting
for individuals and teams.
Week 4:Psychological skills training II- Imagery, Designing an imagery program
Week 5:Training young minds- working with young athletes, strategies to work with young athletes. Sports burnout and strategies to combat burnout
Week 6:Power of communication and mindfulness in sports understanding communication and strategies to build communication. Building mindfulness and resilience in sports
Week 7:Working with teams- building a team, strategies for team building
Week 8:Psychology of Injury and career transition in sports understanding injury and managing injury. Understanding and managing career transition from sports.
