ABOUT THE COURSE:The primary objective of this course is to analyze efficient and optimum operation of electric power generation system and to provide an overview about the control techniques adopted to ensure the economic operation of a power system. This course also introduces optimization methods and their application in practical power system operation problems. In this course, modern control system solution methods are employed for power generation system problems. This course provides application of modern numerical techniques and analytical methods for dealing with and solving operation-related problems in electric power systems.
