You'll learn everything you need to know to take on a UX project from start to finish and build the communication skills needed to influence product strategy. Even if a career in UX is not your final path, these problem solving skills can be applied to many other roles where solving business problems in an efficient & innovative way are required. 

This “Intro to UX Design” class is a foundational and methodology focused exploration of becoming a User Experience Designer. We will breakdown human-centered design methodologies & important skills to become a successful UX practitioner. We will dive into understanding your users, problem solving, ideation, prototyping, influencing, presentation skills, and more in this activity based course. 

No previous experience is required except knowing your way around a computer! We will take a look at various brainstorming & prototyping tools, all which I will teach you the basics of. You will need access to paper/markers and/or a whiteboard. You will also need a subscription or a free trial to Sketch. By the end of this class, you will have a full end-to-end project that can be used in a portfolio!
