In some live video workflows, you may want to save segments of a live event for playback later. For example:

  • Clips from a live game for a highlight reel.
  • Individual presentations from a day-long conference.
  • Clips from a live broadcast to be used in advertisements for the show.

With the AWS Elemental MediaPackage harvest feature, you can specify the start and end times of the segments, and save them as individual VOD assets to an Amazon S3 bucket.
