Throughout these lessons, we'll define a game designer's tasks by discussing techniques to create a game concept and different ways to work within that game concept. We'll cover the initial idea for the pitch document of a game design concept and create the documentation for development using Adobe Photoshop, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word. Also, we'll cover how to create quality assets and features for our pitch document to make it visually interesting. We'll choose our camera, control and character before we finalize the pitch document by adding secondary features. By the end of this course you'll have a much better understanding of what role a game designer plays in the creation of a pitch document and the importance of a quality game concept. Software required: Word 2013, PowerPoint 2013, Photoshop CS6.
