Overview
Yale Continuing Medical Education, ON DEMAND: Critical Care & Emergency Neuroscience: Current Topics in Neuro-resuscitation after Traumatic Brain Injury and Cardiac Arrest, 7/22/2022 8:00:00 AM - 7/21/2023 3:20:00 PM, This on demand webinar is a recording from the live activity entitled, Critical Care & Emergency Neuroscience Symposium: Current Topics in Neuro-resuscitation after Traumatic Brain Injury and Cardiac Arrest, which was held on June 16, 2022. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) and neurologic injury from cardiac arrest are leading drivers of death and disability nationally and worldwide. "Neuro-resuscitation" of patients after TBI and cardiac arrest requires complex multi-disciplinary management to support patients through the acute phase of recovery. In recent years significant research and technological advances have been made in treating the TBI and cardiac arrest patient populations. By providing the most up-to-date information to providers in the region, we hope to optimize outcomes for these critically ill patients. Faculty discuss fundamental and up-to-date management principles for these patient populations and highlight recent breakthroughs in acute therapies.Release Date: 07/22/22Expiration Date: 07/22/23Estimated Time to Complete: 7 hours
