The course focuses on issues of environmental exposures, resulting health effects, and appropriate controls for these hazards. Emphasis is placed on food safety, pests and pesticides, air quality, global climate change, water quality, wastewater, solid and hazardous wastes, industrial hygiene, and radiation.
