HIST 40 - History of the Mexican American Degree Applicable, CSU, UC, IGETC Prerequisite: Eligibility for ENGL 68 U.S. history from colonial times to the present with a special emphasis on the role of Mexican Americans in the development of the nation. Satisfies the requirement for a course in American History, including the study of American institutions and ideals as required by Title 5 of the California Administrative Code.
