    In this module, you'll:

    • Extend the core capabilities of Microsoft Sustainability Manager.
    • Learn about the extensibility options and recommended practices for Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.
  • Module 2: Learn how to set up your training environment for Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

    In this module, you'll:

    • Discuss Microsoft Solution Center
    • Set up a new Microsoft Office E5 trial tenant.
    • Set up a new Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability trial instance.
  • Module 3: Learn how to set up organization and reference data in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

    In this module, you'll:

    • Review the company profile for Contoso Corp, add Wide World Importers to the organizational structure, and then add the two Florida facilities.
    • Create reference data for contractual types.
    • Create units with conversion factor.
  • Module 4: Learn how to ingest carbon emissions activity data in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

    In this module, you'll:

    • Use Microsoft Sustainability Manager connectors to ingest data.
    • Use Power Query to transform the data before ingestion.
    • Review the ingested data in the Purchase Electricity Activity Data table in Dataverse.
  • Module 5: Learn how to design emission calculations in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

    In this module, you'll:

    • Review the Dynamic calculation capabilities of Microsoft Sustainability Manager by using factor libraries, emission factors, and more.
    • Review the existing EPA 2022-eGRID factor library and emission factors.
    • Create a new custom factor library for estimating miles to kilowatt-hours.
    • Create new calculation models and new calculation profiles for calculation jobs.
  • Module 6: This lab provides insights into the emission activity trends in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

    In this module, you:

    • Analyze various sustainability dashboards.
    • Generate an emissions report.
    • Generate an activity report.
    • Review Power BI insights.
  • Module 7: Learn how to set carbon reduction goals and track them by using scorecards in Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.

    In this module, you'll:

    • Create scorecards and goals to monitor progress toward carbon reduction targets.
    • Learn about goal check-ins.
    • Set up and use Microsoft Teams chat collaboration features.
