Great course to refresh my Spanish skills! I didn't learn much new content (I have taken an honors level Spanish 2 course in High School that covered most of these topics already) but I enjoyed the review, practice, and videos that went with this course! Will recommend to others!

Fantastic course with some great learnings, including structuring verbs in the different tenses.
The course also covers key vocab including parts of the face and the body.
Good overall introduction to Spanish, which get's you to solid level on completion where you can understand, and also start to construct the language for yourself.

The course was ok, generally good grammar explanation. But there was a problem with two videos - I was instructed to watch them and make excercises based on them but there were no video and the link was to other video than transcription showed. There was a mistake in translation from Spanish t English in one lesson.

I loved this course! It's made methodologically with new information that builds on the previous ones. It was FUN working on all the exercises. It was a GREAT experience. It was a USEFUL course because it equips all learners with the necessary vocabulary and verbs to hold a regular conversation. It was FREE.

I RECOMMEND it to everyone who wants to get the knowledge to speak usual conversations in Spanish. Thank you, all!

Ce cours m'a permis de réviser plusieurs notions, expressions et mots de vocabulaire.
De plus, les instructions données en anglais me permettent de reviser aussi mes connaissances de la langue anglaise.
J'apprécie beaucoup la qualité de ces cours.

I have enjoyed all three courses and have just completed my BS3 exam. I found the course really good, but felt there were some difficulties with the software and audio recordings, which I hope can be fixed.

I like this course. I felt that I learned a lot through the audio and video. It's hard to retain a new language sometime and I feel like I got a lot out of this course.

Overall the course was OK. Nice range of vocabullary. Detailed explanation of key grammar concepts. Good job!

Final module was a bit unloved, though. Every now and then it looks like course creators were rushed into finishing the units without having enough time to decide what they really wanted to do.

Overall, a very good course supporting grammar learning on Basic level. It was a good repetition of more challenging Basic Spanish 2.

The Basic Spanish courses (1,2, and 3) greatly complemented my Spanish studies. They are straightforward, and the structure of the courses allows you to work at your own pace. I highly recommend you follow the suggested timelines - they're valuable guides for efficient progress.

I really liked the course. The tasks were set up in a way that helped me practice what I learned before and learn new things lesson by lesson. It felt like the people who made the course put a lot of effort , care and their soul into it! The video explanations of grammar and the dialogues were very helpful and interesting. Thanks to this course, I enjoyed learning Spanish and feel motivated to keep going. I think the course is worth even much more than what it costs, and I would be willing to pay more for it.

This is an excellent course, interesting and contrasting expressions. It covers materials to help speak in a more conversational, everyday way. Helpful is the link to the dictionary and to the Videos (Ele).
I hope that there will be follow-up course.
I assume that the left 'star' will give the highest rating.

Thank you very much for developing and delivering this course. It has been fun.

I have completed the 'Basic Spanish' courses, 1 to 3 and found each of them to be excellent. These courses were clearer, more useful and more engaging than my 'in-person' courses in Australia and my Duolingo course. Thank you Universitat Politècnica de València and edX.

i think that present perfect is too much at this level, but most activities are very useful. I like the structure a lot. Short explanations, and then gradually increasing the level of difficulty and effort. Most of things seem very practical too.

Thank you to the University of Valencia for putting out these beginner Spanish courses! I have taken all 3 during quarantine, and along with some of my own studying on the side, I feel like I have learned a lot of the basics of Spanish. The only thing I would change about this particular course was the parts of it that were repeated verbatim from the second course. I did not mind reviewing the grammar topics, but I would have liked to perhaps practice them in different contexts. The best part of this course was the videos and the extensive practice with the past tense. Gracias para este curso; yo aprendí mucho!
