    • In the course orientation, you will become familiar with the course, your classmates, and our learning environment. The orientation will also help you obtain the technical skills required for the course. Then dive into the second part of this module to explore the financial industry’s regulatory landscape, understanding roles of regulators, licensing requirements for professionals, and reporting obligations in this succinct module.
  • Module 2 | Diving to the Depths of Regulation
    • In this module, you will dive into securities regulations, compliance for alternative investments, laws for accredited investors, and the significance of due diligence and AML in investor protection.
  • Module 3 | Navigating the Ocean of Securities, Issuers, and Accredited Investors
    • In this module, you will explore land and non-land investments, understand hedge funds, commodities, and virtual currencies, and learn best practices for various asset classes.
  • Module 4 | Case Study Hover Lawn & Course Conclusion
    • In this module, you will investigate intrastate and crowdfunding exceptions, the role of accredited investors, and real estate trusts through the Hover Lawn case study. In the fast pace world of startups and high tech this journey allows you to explore securities and alternatives from the perspective of a business owner and a new idea. At the conclusion of this module, you will be ready to complete the final assessment for the course and earn your Coursera certificate!
