The Project Management Institute (PMI) states that "The PgMP certification recognizes advanced experience, skill, and performance in the oversight of multiple related projects and their resources aligned with an organizational objective. PgMP certification holders oversee the success of a program—a way to group multiple related projects to achieve benefits that may not be realized if the projects were managed in a stand-alone fashion. As project managers advance in their careers, the experience they gain in managing multiple related projects and making decisions that advance strategic and business objectives demonstrates this competence. As employers demand program managers who can support the strategic objectives of the organization, PgMP certification holders will gain a distinct advantage in employment and promotional opportunities over their peers."
This course provides an overview of the PMI-PgMP certification eligibility and sign-up process. Additionally, we share a step-by-step guide to the certification process. The five domains of knowledge, which form the basis for all questions on the exam, are defined, along with test-taking strategies and tips. We conclude with a 30-question multiple-choice practice test, followed by a 170-question multiple-choice mock examination that simulates the actual PMI-PgMP testing experience. .g. This is primarily aimed at first- and second-year undergraduates interested in engineering or science, along with high school students and professionals with an interest in programming.
