Another excellent course from Barbara Oakley, this time collaborating with AI expert Jules White.
I am familiar with and use AI but this course gave me plenty of different ideas to make more of the technology, both in the workplace and for learning. I can see myself returning to the videos in the future, to refresh and continue improving my skills.

I have been interested in genAI development for some time now, and have bought and read Barbara's books, done in Coursera the Learning How to Learn course, and also Ethan Mollick's book and newsletter.
This course sort of sums everything up, and brings up to date the best ways of communicating and using AI, which is, I believe, the whole point.
Clear, concise and illuminating, it was all I expected from Coursera and the teachers. -

I had just watched two YouTube interviews (Yuval Noah Harari and Mo Gawdat) on AI and came to an understanding that while AI may not replace us, those who don't learn to use it effectively will be replaced by those who do. Hmm. As a devote of life-long learning and MOOCS, when Class Central informed me about this course, I was ready. I've always felt that learning how we learn is the key to the city of knowledge, and I'd taken Prof. Oakley's MOOC. This course is for everybody who believes that AI takes away your job/life/knowledge. Excellent content and great lecturers. I took all the Barbara Oakley courses and learned a lot with Jules White. Both are charismatic, great teachers who can make you believe that you actually can learn something and develop. It gives you a feeling of having fun and, at the same time, doing something that has meaning. I loved this.

Interesting ideas on extra ways to interact with AI models (not just ChatGPT, of course) and improve your learning.
Not a lot, but well enough to be worth the time spent. I watched most of it in 1.6 to 2x - it is bit slow otherwise.
I had already Learning How to Learn (very good) and now I have added a few other courses by Dr. Jules White to my list. -

Barb's way of teaching meets perfectly my understanding (and doing) of a learner and teacher (of foreign languages). I also liked to see video's from 'Learning how to learn' again octopus and backing up a car).
Jules is excellent as well in explaining and illustrating.

It would be perfect if there is a separate thread/appendix for the example prompt the professor gave because the screen he shared is small and the use might not be interested to hear the whole example out looking at the screen of ChatGPT with tiny texts
