Welcome to the AWS Services course! The "AWS Services" course aligns with the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Certification requirements. This course is designed to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS). While introductory courses provide a foundation in cloud computing concepts and basic AWS functionalities, this course covers vast array of AWS services, focusing on practical applications and advanced features crucial for optimizing the use of AWS in real-world scenarios. This course assumes a fundamental understanding of cloud computing and basic AWS concepts. This course requires no prerequisites other than a laptop and an Internet connection. We will utilize an AWS free-tier account for all demonstrations. By the end of this course, you'll be able to: - Deploy and manage EC2 instances to provide scalable computing power. - Leverage the full range of AWS storage solutions, including S3, Glacier, and CloudFront. - Configure DNS routing and health checks using Route 53 to ensure seamless connectivity. - Design and optimize AWS database solutions, including RDS and DynamoDB. This course combines engaging videos, demos, knowledge checks, and readings to provide you with a comprehensive learning experience.

Syllabus

  • EC2 Instances
    • This module introduces Amazon EC2, covering instance creation, configuration, and management. By end of the module, learners will gain hands-on experience, enhancing their proficiency in AWS cloud server deployment.
  • AWS Storage
    • This module covers AWS storage options like Amazon S3, Glacier, and CloudFront. By the end of the module, learners will gain proficiency in managing storage solutions and utilizing data transfer services in the AWS cloud.
  • Networking and Domain Management
    • This module covers AWS networking essentials like Route53 and VPC configuration. By end of the module, learners will gain proficiency in setting up and managing networking infrastructure on AWS for secure communication between resources and external networks.
  • Database Services
    • This module introduces AWS database services like Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB. By the end of this module, learners will gain practical experience in deploying and managing databases on AWS, along with understanding best practices and pricing.
