You can earn a digital badge for completing all assignments for each role in AWS Cloud Quest. These roles include Cloud Practitioner (which you can play for FREE), and Solutions Architect, Serverless Developer, Machine Learning, Security, Data Analytics and Networking, which are included with an AWS Skill Builder subscription. AWS Cloud Quest digital badges enable you to demonstrate your solution building knowledge to recruiters, potential employers and your peers.
How does it work?
Cloud Quest provides content that helps players learn foundational AWS skills and empowers them to progress towards mastery of specific roles such as Solutions Architect.
Players enter a virtual city and choose a pre-defined role like “Serverless Developer” or “Solutions Architect", that enable quests tailored to the chosen role. As players progress through the game, they will earn rewards and status for completing activities that unlock new learning areas.
The gameplay utilizes interactive simulations to transform business problems into technical solutions, challenging learners to apply technology concepts via AWS hands-on labs and do-it-yourself activities.
Players are tasked with solving problems throughout the city by completing learning exercises that visually transform the landscape.
