Stages of growth and development, behavior, and characteristics of the child. Influences of and differences between the theories of Freud, Erikson, Piaget, Kohlberg, and Maslow. Theories and perspectives of mental health nursing as it relates to the care of children and adolescents. Instructor signature required.
