Limitation on Enrollment: Acceptance into the Vocational Nursing Program. Successful completion of the second semester of the Vocational Nursing Program or equivalent. Prerequisite: NURVN-409 and 409L. Corequisite: NURVN-411. Nursing care of adult patients in the hospital/clinical setting. Utilization of the nursing process as a framework for providing care to patients with reproductive, hematologic, neurologic and immunologic disorders. Care of the patient with cancer, and of patients with emergency and traumatic disorders will also be emphasized. Note: Students must pass NURVN-411L and achieve a minimum grade of C in NURVN-411 to meet course and program requirements. Materials Fee: $2.00 (in-person classes only, unless otherwise noted)
