Limitation on Enrollment: Acceptance into the vocational nursing program. Successful completion of the second semester of the Vocational Nursing Program or equivalent. Prerequisite: NURVN-409 and 409L. Corequisite: NURVN-411L. Discussion, demonstration, and application of the nursing process and developmental theory for the care of adult patients with diseases and disorders of the reproductive, hematologic, immune, and nuerological systems. Emergency nursing, shock and bioterriorism, and care of the patient with cancer will also be emphasized. Includes 12 hours of related pharmacology content. Note: Students must achieve a minimum grade of C in NURVN-411 and pass NURVN-411L to meet course and program requirements. Materials Fee: $4.00 (in-person classes only, unless otherwise noted)
