This course introduces the scientific study, broadly defined, of psychopathology and atypical behaviors. Students investigate abnormal behavior from a variety of perspectives including biological, psychological, and sociocultural approaches. It also introduces an integrative survey of theory and research in abnormal behavior and intervention, as well as prevention strategies for psychological disorders.
