This course provides awareness education for infection control and awareness about serious communicable pathogens. It’s ideal for individuals who may be at risk for exposure to serious communicable pathogens, including emergency responders and workers in public health and other healthcare settings.
OBJECTIVES- Recognize the principles of occupational safety and health and infection control for working with Ebola and other serious communicable pathogens.
- Identify environmental infection controls and hazards.
- Identify the skills needed to best manage Ebola and other emerging infectious disease outbreaks.
