I really appreciate that their a course here in Canvas that discusses and teaches about what copyright is, because now that we are in the 21st Century, we tend to take everything for granted such as sets of knowledge and information. All of them are just one click away, and at times because of that all-access freedom, we usually forgot to give credit or at least acknowledge our sources and see everything as a "free real estate". I definitely learned a lot and this course really clarified all my confusions and uncertainties in regards to topics like this especially on how fundamental this is, be it on my academic and personal life and integrity.

It´s an interesting course since establishes and defines important terms, providing a wide-open view about what you could do or use when you create or use some materials.
Additionally, it was very important to identify sites that you could use for materials that don't require any special permission for their use. -

Thank you for the resources to help me teach my students about fair use of copyright media. My students need to be able to get images and short clips without breaking the law. In a digital age world we need to learn as much as possible. I also want to respect and promote more artistic and creative work. It is important that my students know that their creations are protected and that they can show the same respect to others work.

With a focus on students as content creators, it provides relevance; individuals who can see the impact of copyright and control over their own content will be more likely to respect the rights of others' materials.

The course was very informative to my personal and professional life. This will help in guiding my students to cite the resources. Amount of information to be taken. The lecture about how students hide their work and this shows how some people hide their work and protect their work with copyright. On the contrary, some students like to share their work. This doesn't mean that students can share part of the assignment, which is called plagiarism. There are so many things that teachers need to teach their students.

This course gave new insightful methods to reach students in a world that loves to post, share and get likes. It gave me practical ideas and ways to reach students on their level.
Research is even more important today and needs to be done without forgetting who the creator is -- especially when it may be someone's livelihood. Ethical thought through this course with examples and lesson ideas gave way plans to use this course while teaching my research classes this semester. -
It was great and I learned a lot of new good information to share with students. This course will be very useful when creating projects and displaying information in my classroom. Students will need to understand the importance of copyright and how it can affect their work and the work of others who have put in time and effort. Very informative class. I now have a clear understanding of copyright and fair use. I also have some tools to help teach this to my students and to my peers. I teach at the college level as well and intent to use the information from this class to help my college students understand the laws and guidelines of copyright and fair use.

This course provide a lot of information regarding copyright and how to teach kids about it. I personally liked the course as the lecturers explain a lot by providing examples or cases that illustrate different scenarios where there have been violations in copyrighting.

It is an interesting course to be taken as a professional Development for educators.
Many students nowadays become lazy in a way that they prefer plagiarize other people’s work than strive to do their own work. Since it is illegal, it is important for educators to have such training in order to be able to sensitize their students about the importance of copyright.

This course is very important to our daily lives as teachers. The reason why is: we use various materials from the internet and they are protected by copyright law.; if we do not know we would be braking the law. In adition lerming the cretive commons, public domain and fair use are the most important because we can use those internet materials without braking the law and teach that as well.
