I've completed the course with a bit mixed fillings.

The subject in general and the course's topics in particular are very interesting. The course tries to give you some background in statistics and lead you to overview of data science, its methods and ends with training some models using machine learning. Unfortunately subjects are poorly explained (more advanced statistics will be hard to understand without prior knowledge).

Course delivers two parallel paths for R and Python (which is awesome!), but not even a line of code is written during the course - instructor works on blocks of code prepared before; there are also ready-to-use code blocks in lab assigments. I'm sorry, but in my opinion it makes no sense to learn code like that.

The course is strongly focused on Azure Machine Learning tool and may be interesting position as a step-by-step tutorial for the tool. For sure you'd be fluent in using Azure ML after this course (including data transformation techniques, training prediction models and web service integration).

Gives basic understanding of statistics for data science using Azure ML. Do not expect on learning either Python or R in this course. This course is just making you familiar with tools that will be used in Data science.

First of all this course is not for newbi, course has designed for Microsoft professional program in Data science student. Pre knowledge is required to complete this course. If you are a student from Microsoft professional program in Data science then it should look quite fruitful and enjoyable.
