Mainstreaming and Modelling

This course aims to educate participants on the importance of considering gender-specific issues in water resource management, as outlined in the Dublin principles and Sustainable Development Goals. Participants will learn about the gap that exists in incorporating gender considerations into water resource modelling practice and will be provided with preliminary guidance on addressing this gap. The course covers topics such as data bias, gender social issues, gender balance, collecting evidence, and relevance. The teaching method involves a webinar led by experts in the field. This course is intended for professionals and individuals involved in water resource management who are interested in mainstreaming gender considerations into their modelling practices.
