This concise online course provides a helpful introduction to integrating psycho-oncology into cancer care. It covers key areas like distress screening, communication techniques, and managing common issues like pain and fatigue.
The focus on therapist interventions and following COC guidelines is valuable for those new to the field. While the lectures could benefit from visuals, the course effectively lays the groundwork for further exploration. -
Pretty great. detailed ppt, to-the-point explanations to give an overview within an hour. This will allow you to completely understand the psychosocial aspect and risk factors associated with cancer. This is the need of the hour considering the effectiveness of psychological treatments for cancer progression. The best part is that this professor discusses integration through the case study making it more tangible and feasible.
