in this course i have learned about basic concepts of veterinary microbiology laboratory routines which help to isolate and identify bacterial species. some of the key concepts include bacterial identification techniques using gram staining based on cell wall characteristics and composition as gram positive and negative. acid fast staining to identify bacteria which possess a waxy mycolic acid on their walls from those which do not possess. capsule staining, flagella staining, endospore staining, ets to identify bacterial external appendages such as capsule, flagella, etc

This is a very good course with much knowledge to impact from. It has open my understanding to the basics of microbiology as a biologist. I recommend it to everyone who needs further education in microbiology to take this course. I am very much appreciated.
