Instructor: Prof. A. N. Chandorkar, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay.

This course deals with the basic theory of analog circuits, design principles and techniques for analog IC blocks implemented in CMOS technology. Although the analog design appears to be much less systematic than digital one, this course tries to get some idea of good design principles to simplify the process. Topics covered in this course include BJT small signal model, MOS circuit model, amplifiers, MOS amplifiers, cascade amplifier, the frequency response of the amplifier, differential amplifier, feedback theory, Op-Amp circuits, active filters, oscillators, and DAC/ADC.
