The ArcMap classes are comprehensive and well-structured, catering to users of all levels, from beginners to advanced GIS professionals. They provide in-depth instruction on data management, spatial analysis, and map design. The instructors are typically knowledgeable and experienced in the field, enhancing the learning experience.

One of the strengths of ArcMap classes is their practicality. They often incorporate hands-on exercises and real-world examples, which help students apply what they've learned to their own GIS projects. This practical approach is invaluable for gaining a deep understanding of the software.

However, it's important to note that as of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Esri was gradually transitioning to ArcGIS Pro as the primary desktop GIS application, which offers a more modern and efficient interface. ArcMap, although still widely used, is considered a legacy software. Thus, prospective students may want to consider if they should focus on ArcGIS Pro classes instead to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest GIS technology.

In conclusion, ArcMap classes are an excellent resource for learning GIS, especially for those who have access to the software. However, it's essential to stay informed about the software's current status and consider the shift towards ArcGIS Pro for long-term proficiency in GIS.
