This course gives a great overview of how trench warfare came about in WW1.
The professor uses film, slides that show the trenches and no man's land that soldiers were forced to cross. " Bleed them", or making the enemy lose soldiers by continuing charges that make no headway but kill lots of brave boys. Verdun is where a lot of troops died
In closing great review if WW1 and overview of trench warfare.
