This course focuses on the core theme of "integrating the spirit of aesthetic education, promoting Chinese culture, transmitting skilled craftsmanship, and fulfilling the mission of the times." It divides traditional Chinese arts and crafts into ceramics, metals, embroidery, lacquer and wood, and paper arts based on materials, to embody the beauty of museums, humanities, sounds and colors, and entertainment. It effectively integrates geographical cultures such as "Shangshan painted pottery," "Ouhai bronze," "Eastern Zhejiang tea culture," "Shanglinhu celadon," and "Ancient Canal Maritime Silk Culture," with local non-heritage techniques such as "Leqing fine-lined cutting and carving," " Gold and silver embroidery," "Mud gold lacquer," "Zhu Jin wood carving," and "Xiangshan paper cutting," combined with chapter-specific craftsmanship knowledge points.
Through appreciation of classic and excellent crafts, students can feel a sense of patriotism and establish a sense of mission and responsibility. They can experience local resources in Zhejiang culture and stimulate curiosity about their hometown's historical and cultural heritage. Under the positive migration of craft culture, students can feel the craftsmanship spirit and establish a professional ethics perspective. With the beauty of crafts as the main thread, the course content achieves cross-domain integration, connecting various disciplines such as music, technology, aesthetics, botany, humanities, music, and literature, to guide students in understanding the generation, inheritance, and development of national arts. By incorporating ideological and political elements such as socialist core values, excellent traditional Chinese culture, cultural and aesthetic forms, it aims to enhance aesthetic and humanistic literacy, promote national spirit, and fulfill the mission of the times.
