Wuqinxi is one of the Chinese traditional health preserving exercises. The traditional Wuqinxi originated in Bozhou, Anhui Province. In 2011, it was named by the State Council as the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects. Its creator was Hua Tuo, a famous physician in the late Eastern Han Dynasty (about 145-208 AD). Hua Tuo, a Chinese character, was born in Qiaoxian County (today's Bozhou, Anhui Province), Peiguo, and was later called the "Holy; Hand of Surgery" and the "originator; of surgery".; Famous Hua Tuo disciples include Wu Pu, Fan A, Li Dangzhi, etc.
