Overview

Pediatrics is a clinical medicine discipline that studies the development, health care and disease prevention and treatment of children from fetus to adolescence. Children from the fetus to the adolescent is a process of physical and intellectual maturity, its body in anatomy, physiology, pathology, development and treatment of disease are different from adults, and has its own characteristics in each age stage. The task of pediatrics is to enable students to master the characteristics of pediatric anatomy, physiology and biochemistry, immunity, growth and development, nutrition and metabolism, prevention and health care and clinical aspects, including the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and prevention methods of common pediatric diseases. Lay the foundation for students to engage in pediatric clinical medicine and child health care work in the future.
