Overview

Introduction to Metallurgical Machinery belongs to the course of introduction to iron making and steel making machinery. It aims to open the first door to the field of metallurgy for undergraduates of related majors, so that students can accept the basic knowledge of metallurgy as soon as possible, develop professional interest, and do a good job in professional enlightenment and guidance education.

The course of Introduction to Metallurgical Machinery systematically, from iron making and steel making two parts, introduces steel production process. Through the teaching of typical equipment, the structural characteristics of iron making and steel making machinery are analyzed, so that students can have a comprehensive understanding of iron making and steel making machinery and equipment.

The language expression focuses on the simple and easy to understand, eliminating abstruse academic terms, highlighting the characteristics of professional, knowledgeable and interesting.

The core members of the teaching team of this course have visited and studied in Europe, the United States and Australia. They have won the first prize of provincial Education Reform, Provincial Outstanding Teacher, Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award, the best player of provincial Teaching Competition and other honorary titles.
