Global Tourism Development Trends is organized into 5 sections. Globally; tourism has been one of the fastest growing industries, contributing more than 10% of the global GDP. Every one out of the 11 jobs was created by the travel and tourism industry (WTTC, 2016). In this course, you will learn the tourism development before COVID-19 , the tourism development after COVID-19 ,sustainable tourism development, medical tourism and wellness tourism, and hot topics in contemporary tourism, like globalization; and deglobalization, climate; change impact on tourism industry, natural; and man-made impact on tourism industry,and technological; impact on tourism industry. This course is taught by Professor Hanqin Qiu,Carson Lewis Jenkins, Yingying Jin leading; professors and industry leaders in their respective field.
