The Economic Law is an integral section of the socialist legal system, which plays a crucial role in the construction of the modern economic system. The content of Economic Law has substantial contents, which involves not only the theoretical construction of the legal rule between the government and the market, but also the multi-disciplinary knowledge of public economy and taxation, finance, competition, and consumer protection etc. The curriculum on Economic Law is one of the vital contents in the cultivation of compound legal talents.

The Economic Law is closely relevant to the frontier issues in the reform and development of the new era, such as taxation reform, construction of market competition order or financial risk prevention and control. How does the Economic Law deal with the relationship between the government and the market under the socialist market economy system? How to understand correctly that market plays a decisive role in resource allocation? How to improve macro-economic and market regulation through the rule of legalization? This curriculum shall take you into the "mysterious palace" of Economic Law, set out to crack its enigma, and deeply master the essence of Chinese Economic Law. The basic structure of this curriculum includes six sections: the General Theory of Economic Law, Anti-monopoly Law, Anti-unfair Competition Law, Consumer Rights and Interests Protection Act, Fiance and Tax Law, and Financial Law.

Economic law is an important legal department in the socialist legal system with Chinese characteristics, and one of the core courses.
