Overview

This course takes construction project management activities as the object. On the basis of management theory and engineering practice, a training mode combining theory and practice is established, engineering education is combined with economic construction, and knowledge learning is combined with ability training. We will train students in civil engineering professionals who have engineering ability, innovative awareness, design, construction and management skills.

 

In the course, we will talk about modern engineering management theories, new achievements in the reform of China's engineering construction system, and laws and regulations related to engineering construction. Meanwhile, we will not only prepare to talk about the main activities and tasks of the participators involved in the completion of the project construction targets; but also combine the engineering cases and our own work experience to achieve the unity of teaching and learning.

 

The main contents of this course include the following: basic procedures for engineering construction, management organizations of engineering projects, investment decision and evaluation of engineering projects, bidding of engineering projects, progress control of engineering projects, quality control, cost control, safety and environmental management, contract management and other related knowledge.

 

At the end of this course, we hope you can use your knowledge to guide engineering practice more skillfully, have the comprehensive quality and engineering ability of civil engineering professionals, become an excellent engineering manager, and serve the modernization drive!
