Mechatronics is a core course in vocational and technical colleges for majors such as Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology, Automation Technology, and Mechatronics. This course primarily utilizes the Mechatronics Concept Designer (MCD) of the UG NX platform, using existing digital models that imitate various physical scenarios to create conceptual design solutions suitable for mechatronic integrated products through case studies. The course is designed to progress from simple to complex, from single to multiple elements, seamlessly integrating software operations and knowledge explanations into the case studies. This approach allows students to become familiar with the software while grasping the basic structure and motion forms of mechanical systems, understanding the fundamental principles of mechatronic conceptual design, gaining knowledge of mechatronic integrated product conceptual design, and learning how to perform virtual-to-virtual and virtual-to-real line integration. The main objective of this course is to cultivate students' comprehensive application abilities in practical skills, innovation, and practical application in the field of mechatronic conceptual design.
