Students should master the basic knowledge of computer network, basic principles and some important protocols. These include network-related terms and protocols(TCP/IP protocol), network standards, OSI reference model, LAN technology(Ethernet is the emphasis), physical layer, data link layer, network layer, transport layer and basic functions of Application layer, the study of network layer is the emphasis which includes routing principles and characteristics. On the basic of the theoretical knowledge listed above, students will acquire the practical abilities of network programming, using network snap tools, switches and routers.
学生应该掌握计算机网络的基本知识、基本原理和重要协议,包括计算机网络相关的重要定义和术语、例如TCP/IP等关键协议,理解网络标准,OSI参考模型,局域网(以太网)关键技术,物理层、数据链路层,网络层,传输层和应用层的功能和特性等。网络层将是本课程的重点,包括了路由算法的工作原理和特点等内容。在课程理论知识基础上,也要求学生掌握一定的网络实践能力,包括网络编程,使用抓包工具,配置路由器等。
