Overview

This course is open to undergraduates and postgraduates at medical schools, aiming to explore the characters of scientists and cultivate the scientific qualities of medical students by reviewing the research experiences of Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine. Added with the stories of famous Chinese medical scientists, the medical students who will be responsible for future medical research and clinical services will be forged in terms of their characters and qualities as scientists.

 

This course introduces the stories of the Nobel Prize winners in Physiology or Medicine in English from the interdisciplinary perspectives of the three major disciplines of language, history and medicine, and also conducts an in-depth discussion on the scientist spirit, scientist consciousness and scientist quality of medical students from the perspective of clinical medical application.
