Overview

'Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)1' is a course introducing you to the fascinating field of TCM. The course includes the philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine such as yin yang and five elements, basic physiology of the human body and mind, essence qi , blood and body fluid of TCM. On the premise of ensuring the basic knowledge, the content bases on the medical professional characteristics, stands out the relationship between basic theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its application in clinic.

The course is designed to provide the students with the necessary theory, lay a solid foundation for further courses, such as Diagnostics, Formulas Chinese Mateira Medica and other professional courses, cultivate the students' TCM thoughts and improve the ability in skillful handing of the basic theory of TCM.

After taking this course, students are required to master the fundamental theories, knowledge and methodology of TCM.
