"Approaching the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (bilingual course)" brings us closer to these great scientists. While learning about the achievements of Nobel Prize Winners in Chemistry, we also witness the development history of chemistry.
"Approaching the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (bilingual course)" is now On-line at the "China University MOOC" and the "Learning Power" learning platform of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee. There are 20 episodes of online teaching videos. Twenty-one Nobel Prize winners are selected. This course introduces their academic experiences and academic achievements from four aspects: biographies, academic achievements, scientific values, and spiritual characters. It reflects innovation and practicality of study to achieve a combination from the ideological field to scientific knowledge. The content of the course covers the history of the development and major innovations of chemistry in the past 100 years. It brings students with the integration of multidisciplinary thinking, disciplinary theory and application industry, and interdisciplinary scientific research achievements.
