Welcome to APPLIED STATISATICS !
We started this course from 2004, it has been a compulsory course for every students in School of Economics and management. Every year more than 700 students will take part in this course studying. And we have developed this course for 18 years, the learning materials are complete. All the materials are provided online, up to now, there are more than 3000 registered users of this course. It is open to international students in English now.
There are 9 units in the course.
The first unit is a general overview of Applied Statistics.
The second unit is how to organize and visualize data.
The third unit is numerical descriptive measures.
The fourth unit is basic probability.
The fifth unit is discrete probability distribution.
The sixth unit is normal distribution.
The seventh unit is sampling and sampling distribution.
The eighth unit is confidence interval estimation.
The ninth unit is simple linear regression.
In the course of teaching, we will give brief and detailed explanations to the principles of basic statistics, and based on the theory teaching, we provide large amount of exercises to practice. On the other hand, in order to improve the application ability of students, we will use detailed explanations,in-depth analysis and vivid cases to guide everyone to the world of Statistics.
There are diversified materials, abundant exercises,and characteristic cases for after class use.
Finally, allow me to introduce the teams involved in the recording and production of this course.
