Advanced Structural Geology is an advanced course on the basis of the course Structural Geology. This course is designed for graduate students majored in geology, covering not only basic principles of structural deformation, but also new insights in the cutting edge and latest methodology in frontier research. This course is also applicative for graduate students majored in geological engineering, geophysics and petroleum geology. The course contains six chapters, including introduction, fundamentals of folds/faults, geometric statistics of folds/faults, seismic interpretation of folds/faults, fault-related folding, and basin evolution. Two sets of exercises and an examination are provided for this course.
