Overview

The course content of " Acupuncture and Moxibustion " mainly includes   three modules: introduction of acupuncture academic thought, meridians and acupoints, acupuncture techniques, and acupuncture treatment. Among them the introduction of acupuncture academic thoughts allows students to understand the origin of Chinese medical culture through the introduction of " Huangdi Neijing" and other books; The module of meridians and acupoints introduces the key points of meridians, location and indications, and in the process of learning this content, students can understand the construction of the academic thought system of traditional Chinese medicine centered on the five internal organs.The third part introduces the representative techniques in acupuncture techniques, such as needling method, moxibustion, cupping, etc; The fourth part selects common diseases such as headache, facial paralysis, stomach pain, insomnia, rhinitis and other representative diseases, and describes the acupuncture treatment of these diseases, so that students can accept and love " Acupuncture and Moxibustion " by witnessing the miraculous effect of acupuncture. In China this course is mainly aimed at open learning of Chinese medicine and Chinese and Western medicine majors, and is an important part of Chinese medicine. Generally this course starts in the sixth or seven semester As the main course of TCM, students are very enthusiastic about " Acupuncture and Moxibustion " and have a high enthusiasm for learning despite the variety of learning content. As an external treatment, " Acupuncture and Moxibustion " has a wide range of indications, unique curative effects, safety and no side effects.
