Overview

工程地质学是地质学的分支学科,又是工程与技术科学基础学科的分支学科。它是工程科学与地质科学相互渗透、交叉而形成的一门边缘科学,从事人类工程活动与地质环境相互关系的研究,是服务于工程建设的应用科学。水利工程地质主要是研究水利水电工程建设中的工程地质问题。   本课程是水利水电工程、港口航道及海岸工程、农田水利工程、水文与水资源工程等专业的一门重要的专业基础课。通过本课程的学习,同学们可以学到工程地质学领域的经典知识和理论,培养专业的地质思维方法,培养分析和处理有关地质问题的能力,为提出正确的工程设计和施工方案,以及从事工程科学研究等提供地质知识储备。本课程理论联系实践的特点突出,除课堂讲授外,实验室试验、野外实践教学等均是本课程的重要教学环节。
