《给排水管网工程》是高等院校环境类各有关专业的一门主要课程。通过课程的讲授使学生牢固掌握给排水管网的基本设计原则和基本方法，一般掌握给排水管网设计中涉及的管路附属设备、构筑物等的设计，一般了解雨水管路的设计原理和方法。教学内容覆盖给水管网、排水管网和泵站的相关知识。课程以课堂教授为主培养学生知识学习能力，同时通过课程设计及答辩、课堂讨论、（泵站水厂/管网）现场参观实践及讲授等提高学生实践和应用能力。
