Prerequisite: PSYC 001. This course provides an introduction to the scientific study of the physiological substrates of behavior and its fundamental role in the neurosciences. Among the areas covered are physiological, hormonal, and neurochemical mechanisms, and brain-behavior relationships underlying sensation, perception, regulatory processes, emotion, learning, memory, and psychological disorders.
