This course is a study of creative nonfiction with an emphasis on critical reading, analysis, interpretation, and creative writing. The student will study the principles and methods of creative nonfiction, submit original pieces for class discussion, and learn to use the workshop format to further their work. A critical analysis of student and master works will address personal, social, political, and/or cultural issues. Recommended Prep: ENGL V01A. Transfer credit: CSU; UC.
