Overview
The project is one of the important components of agricultural development. This course provides a good understanding of project concepts, project preparation aspects, project implementation, and project analysis. The course describes the importance and role of projects in the developmental process among various stakeholders of agriculture policy formulation and implementation process. The course will help in identification of the projects based on the high priority in the national development programme and discuss the financial, economic and other aspects of project preparation and analysis. An elaborate discussion is provided to assess the economic values of agricultural inputs and output. The course describes various approaches and methods for comparing project costs and benefits.Course Credit - 4
